Los Glaciares, Argentina’s largest national park, is home to the famous and widely photographed Mount Fitz Roy and Cerró Torre. Despite the heavy snowfalls of the past few days, I was excited and determined to wander in the park. I decided to ascend the Loma del Pliegue Tumbado’s peak. I had the place all to myself. It took me hours to reach the summit, but the effort was worth it. On the top I had this breathtaking panorama encompassing the Mount Fitz Roy, Cerró Torre and the glacial lake.
